My brother in law and his black lab “Rip” came to hunt Catahoula Lake for the first time. We had to pick off singles to get our limit. Temps were 27 degrees that morning. We drug sleds with decoys almost a mile into the lake. Tough but fun hunting.
Got this buck on my family hunting trip the week before Thanksgiving on opening morning of Gun season.
Our beautiful little boy, one year old and is looking young and healthy.
We hunt the Atchafalaya basin with deer dogs and we use Pete to drive the dogs and drag the deer out
