Finally, we were able to take our grandkids to Grand Isle for their first time. Entered them in a fishing rodeo at Bridge Side and they both won trophies in a few different categories along with some fun door prizes. Needless to say, they are now ”Hooked on Fishing”..
After being afield on Public Land for four decades, you realize that the harvest is not only the game hunted, but the views on the journey; that is true treasure of the Sportsman’s Paradise.
My mom, Tam, and two siblings, Lemon and Ha, out late casting for big shrimp at Lake Pontchatrain and having fun into the late evening.
We hunt the Atchafalaya basin with deer dogs and we use Pete to drive the dogs and drag the deer out
