I was out in the Tensas River NWR hoping to photograph Louisiana black bears. I had no luck with the bears, but did have the opportunity to follow and photograph two otters mating. This photo was taken when the female otter looked up, and was surprised to see me there.
I caught this tank, and my girlfriend netted it for me—then I proposed, and she said yes!
Caught it in Toledo bend fishing a high school tournament.
