I was out in the Tensas River NWR hoping to photograph Louisiana black bears. I had no luck with the bears, but did have the opportunity to follow and photograph two otters mating. This photo was taken when the female otter looked up, and was surprised to see me there.
Driving down LA1 headed towards Port Fouchon and saw this magnificent view.

Pirogue fishing at Lake Martin in the fog. The fog was thicker than a sheet of white paper that morning.
