I got the first pictures of him on the morning of January 10th, 2024. I was caught totally off guard. I called my buddy, that’s my taxidermist, and told him to figure out how I was going to mount him. I got to my stand at 4:40 on the same afternoon and killed him at 5:10, the only deer I saw the whole afternoon. He was headed back to the feeder he ate at that morning.
My husband and I were taking a boat ride down Blind River, when I saw this tree and it really stood out to me. Just nature’s simple beauty.
My 18 month old grandson when hunting with his Dad and his mom was not liking them.He picked them up and was chasing her with them.
Dawsyn ended up with the biggest fish of the day, 15 lbs. Fought it for over 10 minutes.
