We made a mid November hunt in Natchitoches Parrish hoping to catch him in the rut. Seen nothing but spikes and 25 does. Came back on the last weekend of gun season with a friend and his son to shoot some does and he was the only deer seen.
26 years ago I shot the last buck I had mounted in almost the same spot, only yards apart.

What a fight! It took quite a while to get this one in. I was fishing with cut crab on the bottom in the marsh around Catfish lake.
