I caught this nice size Black drum in Port Sulphur not far from the civic fishing pier. I had a Carolina rig with dead shrimp off one of the deeper cuts. This guys ran so hard it pulled my Cajun anchor out and my buddy had to chase me down. After about 20 some minutes I was able to land it, grab a photo and release.
Fishing is such a great sport it also teach us, patience. Take a kid fishing, let’s change lives 1 cast at a time.
I caught this bull redfish on an artificial shrimp under a popping cork near Hopedale, Louisiana. He was safely released after the photograph was taken.
