I caught this nice size Black drum in Port Sulphur not far from the civic fishing pier. I had a Carolina rig with dead shrimp off one of the deeper cuts. This guys ran so hard it pulled my Cajun anchor out and my buddy had to chase me down. After about 20 some minutes I was able to land it, grab a photo and release.
It was Brook’s first hunting trip and he was the good luck charm.
Us from NOLA FISHING COMMUNITY set out to catch reds out of Lafitte and did so.
Had parish as my spotter (when he wasn’t napping). Taken just outside Port Vincent, La.
